Lithium-ion Batteries
Many of today’s portable devices contain rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, which are light-weight, energy dense, and long lasting. Portable devices such as phones, tablets, power banks, computers, toys, appliances, and tools, as well as mobility equipment (e.g., electric bikes, scooters, etc.) are certainly convenient and make our lives easier.
Unfortunately, there has been a rise in fires related to Lithium-ion batteries.
